BORN Group

I worked in close collaboration with CareAllies stakeholders and business analysts to meticulously gather requirements and design an interface for the “Find a Doctor” experience, ensuring that it was both easy to use and intuitive. This project underscored our commitment to advancing user accessibility and elevating the quality of patient care through innovative digital solutions.

OVERVIEW

  • Create an effective tool for users to find care within their area.

  • Ensure back-end data sources could effectively be captured and rendered on the front end.

  • Elevate CareAllies' branding.

Goals & Objectives

I designed wireframes to thoughtfully guide users through entering their search criteria, refining their search results, and selecting their preferred doctor.

I ensured a seamless interaction with the interactive map, allowing users to easily locate doctors in their area. This facilitated a smooth and efficient process, enhancing the overall user experience. Additionally, I carefully considered error states and ‘No Results Found’ screens to ensure a comprehensive and robust design.

CREATING THE USER EXPERIENCE

As part of our engagement with CareAllies we enhanced their existing brand guidelines and created a comprehensive component library. Moving into visual design, I integrated these updated guidelines along with my team to ensure consistency and coherence across all design elements, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.

VISUAL DESIGN

Designing a “Find A Doctor” experience for CareAllies presented several unique challenges. One major hurdle was ensuring that the process of searching for and selecting a doctor was intuitive and user-friendly, while also integrating an interactive map for geographical context. This required a careful balance of simplicity and functionality. Additionally, maintaining consistency with the existing brand guidelines and developing a component library added another layer of complexity. Collaborating with stakeholders and iterating on designs were essential to overcoming these challenges and delivering a cohesive, effective product.
